About
Preventive Screening program in Aruba: The foundation's goal is to promote early detection of breast cancer by screening healthy women between 45-75 years.
Every 2 years these women can participate and get their breasts checked. The program focus on giving information to all ages about the importance of breast health and self-checks. The target is to lower the mortality rate due to advanced breast cancer. With the participation of the women joining the program, BOB can detect possible breast cancer cases at a very early stage. The treatments are then less invasive and life quality will be much better. Early detection saves lives.
